In our disposable society it can sometimes be cheaper and easier to buy new than to re upholster, but it is nice to see that a more discerning, sentimental or environmentally aware consumer may choose to bring new life to older or well loved furniture.
Re upholstery varies in price according to the style, period and size of furniture, and although we can give you an estimate over the phone, we can only give a quote after viewing the piece. We guarantee to be reasonably priced, but re upholstery can sometimes be quite costly for traditionally upholstered or unusually designed pieces of furniture.
Most upholstery today is a hybrid of both traditional and modern materials and techniques, tailored to the style, period and finish of the furniture. We will re upholster your furniture to suit your individual requirements, whether it is cost, comfort, fully traditional, modern or a combination of the above.
We offer advice on fabric choice and the meterage required, and can recommend local stockists of good quality upholstery fabrics.
